About Peggy Button
Peggy Button is a long-time patient, advocate and caregiver who has made it her life’s work and passion to educate the population as well as produce products related to the medical application of hemp and cannabis. Advocating for patients in need and creating products that help manage their illnesses and injuries and the effects they have had on them. Peggy’s lifelong experiments have produced a wide assortment of hemp and cannabis products which include, but are not limited to; edibles both shelf stable and perishable, tinctures, topical solutions, raw activated cannabis and hemp powders, soaps, candles and more.
Having a personal history and battling chemical sensitivities most of her life, Peggy insists on her products being free from chemical additives and grown organically using natural cultivation practices. She knows what it means to be sick and misunderstood.
Falling ill at a young age, Peggy’s debilitating symptoms often confuse doctors. She suffered through fevers, rashes, exhaustion and muscle pain. She would later be diagnosed with Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. After conventional treatment options made her symptoms worse, she eventually discovered the effects and relief that cannabis provided, in her late teens. Over time, through years of personal experiences along with trial and error she was able to overcome the need for pharmaceutical prescriptions and still uses cannabis as her predominant medicine today.
Peggy gained her reputation as a generous and compassionate medical cannabis advocate through her dedicated work at various medical cannabis markets and cannabis farmers markets throughout Washington State and other states where the medical cannabis community is active. She offers her knowledge and products. She is always willing to work with anyone that comes across her path.
At the medical cannabis markets, Peggy was known and famous for her “ Green Goop ” (Pergote Verde) and a form of whole plant cannabis or hemp powder that can be used in capsules or added to baking mixes for a more personal experience. Peggy has been working hard to expand her product line since those early market days and is ready to share these helpful products, important information and inspiring stories. She hopes using this platform and other online avenues will enable her to continue to educate and heal people.
